Possible, but there were a number of a/c that used that style units. Can you get a better shot of the data plate?
Hard to photograph it says Wagner 8000 or 800C

Wasn't a BT unit as they didn't use Wagners. Also not a PT-19/23/26, as they used a different style cylinder. My Fairchild AT-21 uses a Wagner of that style, but I think a different series. I haven't come across a Wagner book that covers that style unit yet.

P-40 used a Wagner unit like that but I cannot remember the part number.
Can you take some well lit photos of the top of the unit? The P-40 one usually has a distinctive Curtiss part attached

You are correct about the P40 part being similar. In fact I bought this hoping it would fit my P40 project or at least be adaptable to it. Seeing it is about 20% larger I have been trying to find a correct home for it. Thx

Thanks very much for that great info

the nameplates refer to "SK-xxxx" drawings which are Curtiss P36/H75 drawings

Wagner 3300-1 = P36/H75
Wagner 3300-2 = P40/H87

Had a further look at the TO 00-25-29
33 = P-47
34 = AT-9
35 = P-39
40 = P-51
45 & 46 = A-35

From TO 01-25C-4
P-40M/N use Warner 3300-2K
