Hello everyone, I have a question.
I have the history card to Butch O'Hare's Wildcat, BuNo 4031. I saw that transferred from VF-2 to VF-42 on May 31 1942, after Coral Sea.
I was wondering if the side number 4031 had in VF-42 is known. I know VF-42 was shore based during this period.
