What in trhe world has ever happened to our aircraft database?

I have a LARGE amount of data and would join a team to put together a database if there is interest.

Any interest?

If so, we should identify ourselves and decide what database to use and come up with a way to load it from Excel.

There is no aircraft database here. What are you suggesting?
As for what database to use depends all on what you want to put in there and what questions you want to ask to the system. I've set up multiple databases at work, ranging from relational databases to outright data lakes. The biggest problem is defining the functional design.
