Piper L-4J Grasshopper 44-80578 (MSN 12874) became HB-ONO Feb 18, 1947, cancelled Jun 25, 1959. It has been stated that this aircraft was rebuilt and given new identity 12500, becoming D-EBIW Sep 8, 1959 until Aug 10, 1976, then LN-HAX from Nov 17, 1976. Was HB-OCF until W/o Jul 21, 1973 at Hasenstrick. But I-AAAW was registeered as MSN 12874 Feb 13, 1960 until cancelled Jan 1971. This may mean that I-AAAW was registered correctly, and that D-EBIW was not a rebuilt of MSN 12874.
