That looks to be the Deck of the USS Sable, one of the 2 coal powered paddle wheel training Aircraft carriers used on Lake Michigan. I have seen pictures of that type of A/C on the Sable in the past. The captioned as anchored in Traverse Bay Michigan for testing. The Ebay shot looks to be new to me and looks to be in Lake Michigan, but some parts of Traverse Bay are big enough that you can not see land from some angles.
