Bataan

Boeing B-17E Fortress 41-2593 delivered McDill Feb 24, 1942, Assigned to 91st BG at Walla Walla Kim 21. 1942. Converted Jun 1942 to XC-108, special
transport for General MacArthur. Carried the name *Bataan*. All armament except nose
and tail guns deleted, extra windows were fitted, and the interior was fitted out as a flying office. Later
used by Gen. Eichelberger as "Miss EM". To RFC at Walnut Ridge Oct 30, 1945.
