I'm new to Eduard. I just ordered their F6F-5 kit. It comes in a Profile Pack. Would someone versed in Eduard explain the different kind of "packs"?

Profie pack comes with Eduard mask and PE sets, also normally a large set of decal options, weekend same kit but no mask or PE and one or maybe two decal options.
Duel combo has two kits and PE, mask and decals to the galore.
Royal sets have everything that is in the Profie pack as well a some Brazen resin addition and oodles and goodoles of decal options. Normally a dual combo.

Hopefully that was helpful

Oh and by the way, Overtrees are JUST the kit with NO instructions/decals, nothing but the kit. This is great if you already have markings you want and other things so you like Quinta Studio or other 3d sets. Instructions can be downloaded from there website.

You can also get what Eduard call OVERTREES, just the plastic. No P.E., no resin, no decals and no instructions but somewhere on the site you can download the instructions. If not you can probably download them o the Scalemates site. OVERTREES are very cheap.....if the can keep them in stock

If you're using the Scalemates search box, youn need to type in 1:48 instead of 1/48. They're funny that way

Dang....you posted as I was typing Don

For instance here are some of the P-51 options.

Also, Eduard doesn't always use their own kits. IE. There F-4 kits (good morning Danang(I think)) are the Academy molds as are the F-4C/D set, the Tornado is Revell molds. Check (like Geo said) Scalemates looking under the full history.

I'm not a fan of their Bf 110 kit but their Bf 109, P-51, and Spitfire kits cover very wide selection and are top shelf. Very high detail to the point can be quite fiddly at times.

I'm loving Tamiya, but don't think they made a Hellcat. I'm going through a Pacific Phase so I'll give the Eduard a go
