Love the Ercoupe (and it's various iterations).
Had many an enjoyable flights in this crate (Alon A2), pic is at Benton Field (O85) but is now at Redding Municipal (RDD).

First owner of my Ercoupe was the ERCO Employees Flying Club. The designer of the Ercoupe was Fred Weick. Unknown to him at the time, his wife joined the flying club and learned to fly in that airplane.

A friend of mine lives not far from Camarillo, CA and says that at the airport there they are selling rides in warbirds. They have an Ercoupe painted up in some kind of military scheme and sell rides in it for $200.

Yesterday was my airplane's 73rd birthday. I worked on polishing the leading edge of the wings.
