Did any FW 190 a8 have the later "blown" canopy? Like the one on the G series?

IIRC , yes they did. The latest series of the A-8 type got the bulged hood.

Would Otto Kittel's last Fw190A-8 have had a 'blown hood'?
Judging by the Fw 190 werk nummer she belonged to the latest batches of the A-8. So the bulged hood is very likely. Also see the "Black 10" of the JG4 above and her profile below..

There is a shot of the A-8, the Werk nummer 960 553 ... the closest one to the serial of the Otto Kittel's kite with the "blown" hood noticed.

Blown hoods are not always dependent on Wnr. I don't think - it seems they used whatever they had - but yes they were pretty commonly found on FW190A-8.
