Hello,
I am trying to find information about the specific plane that this magneto was installed on and and trying to get a copy of any supporting documentation for a display. Any help would be amazing!

It's a Left hand magneto for a P&W R-2800.

Judging by the conditions of the device and the very clean appearance I would say it has never been attached to any aircraft. As mjfur posted the destination plane was one of these listed there. But IMHO it spent all its time in a box being stored in a spare parts warehouse. Then it was either sold at a pare parts sale or sent to a scrapyard where somebody picked it up.
