Hi

Does anyone know if the grey goggles in the picture are from 1940s found in attic of house.

The grey framed goggles are RAF Mk. VIII ( Stores ref, 22C/ 930) first issued in October 1943 and continued in use until the 1960s. Those produced during the war have a curved edge to the metal frame whereas those made after are flat.

Thanks any idea what the other ones are they were in the same box
 
Am I mistaken or are the identifications backward? It seems aviation mayhem asked about the GREY goggles (closest to the helmet), not the Mk VIIIs (brown and green, in the picture).
