Ok thank you for the information. The prop is 6ft long so it makes sense on the ones that have a 12ft 7 diameter.Hello,
Welcome to the site ...
According to the lists of the propellers and governors I have, the DWG 6359A-18 prop blade was used for :
A-26B, C powered by the engine R-2800-27, hub 23E50-473, 505, 573 with a prop of diameter 12ft 7in.
B-26B, C powered by the engine R-2800-71, 79, hub 23E50-473, 505.
B-25 series powered by the engine R-2600-9 or 13 or 29A, hub 23E50-333, 473, 505 with a prop of diameter 12ft 7in.
The B-17 and also B-24, C-47 used a blade of a similar DWG number ... 6353A-18 for a prop of 11ft 7 in diameter. But the DWG 6359A-18 is not listed for the bomber.
For getting the value of the item I would suggest checking on the Ebay site. Here on the forum we don't allow to trade.

Garage Sale! I'm jealousHi. I came across this propeller at a garage sale. I would like some more information on it. I was told it was from a B17 bomber. Also wondering the value of it?
