Heinkel HE 111 Cockpit placards and reference

Aeroplane Heaven here ,

We are building a new Flight Simulator model of the Heinkel HE 111 P2 and I am desperate to find clear reference to the cockpit and instrument placards. Can anyone help please?

Chris "takes the bacon" on the actual cockpit photos. I don't think you're going to find better than that.

Here is the best cockpit illustration I could find of an H model. There may be minor differences between the P and H model cockpit layouts (if anywhere, probably with the engine gauges / throttles as the H model switched from the Daimler Benz 601A to the Junkers Jumo 211A engines), but this should be pretty close. If you want a complete set of detailed drawings (primarily of the H model, but also including the P model), they can be purchased from Luftfahrt-Archiv Hafner for 59 Euro plus shipping.

Thanks for the pics, many we have. The problem is the actual text on the placards. We have found some but a large amount are illegible. I don't suppose much exists outside of private collections now.

Holy necro post Batman...One of the Museums in Uk is restoring their Heinkel back to WW2 specs.Maybe ask them.Think its the BoB museum.

Sorry for the necro, I wasn't thorough enough. I found them. I can say both picture can be found in the Hafner manual collection in different quality, in the manuals of the "He 111 H Bewaffnung und Bordfunk" folder.

Look at YSGBM posting of the cockpit diagram. These placards are around #43,44,and 45. It is actually a single placard, just around those 3 handles.

I have checked. In this rebuild of the He111 'Lady of the Lakes, there are no placards placed there. The framing of these engine and flight controls is a new aluminum build. Not sure what happened to the original. The control arms were addressed and re-painted.
