Not footage from the Shell House raid. Different Squadron aircraft, and different weather and land scape. From what I remember of the footage from the Odense raid, this is it.

Why would someone who'd been shooting at RAF bombers for years not expect some kind of retribution sometime?
The installations on the island(s) were perfectly legitimate targets and there was a war on.It really is as simple as that.
Beware of judging actions undertaken in war time,nearly 70 years ago,with the benefit of hindsight.

Also bear in mind Helgoland dominated the approaches to both Bremen and Hamburg, which the Allied armies were racing to capture.

Brief search indicates it had some 30.5 cm guns in the coastal batteries, in addition to the airfield and the flak, so yes, a worthwhile target.
