How Would You Like To Be In This Situation?

They got the people out after midnight last night. They were badly injured but at least they were not reduced to crispy critters.

I recall one airfield in Maryland where landing was rather disconcerting. You passed over some high tension lines on downwind but as you turned crosswind the power lines turned also in such as fashion so that it seemed like you were right over them for the longest time. Eventually when on final approach you finally got away from the power lines.

Saw this posed on a few other sites. First off, if you're going to crash in a GA airplane, do it in a Mooney. I knew a few Doctors Without Borders who hit powerlines in Mexico and walked away from the accident.

Looks like this guy was in IMC and was either too low or below IAP minimums. In any event I'm glad he and his passenger walked away.
