Hurricane tail wheel??

Hello everyone, I've had this for a while and was told it's from a spitfire but I'm leaning towards and hoping that it's from a hurricane.What do you guys think?

Is that AH O 5000/2 ?
If so then it is from a Mk I Hurricane or, less exotically, a Percival Proctor. The /2 just means it's aluminium.

Ah i see I quoted the number on the brass looking disc rather than the serial number on the aluminium bit.Yes it's 5000/2. I'm REALLY happy with that thankyou Steve
