Is there a good suggestion for Japanese navy/army trainer color? I found one in Italy, but any other recommendations would be appreciated.

From my notes:

IJN - from 1939 - the Dark Yellow ( nibuki-iro ), orange ( to-o-shoku ) - overall or at the undersides only.

~ FS *2246, *3618, *3481, *3432.
- Tamiya XF3 (95%) + XF7 (5%), Gunze H4, H14

- from 1943 - sometimes it was the Dark Green ( ao-midori-iro/an-ryoku-shoku ) for sides and tops

~FS *4056, *4079, *4086, *4092
-Tamiya XF11 (50%) + X5 (30%) + X3 (15%) + X1 (5%), Gunze H59, H302

IJA - the Dark Yellow ( nibuki-iro ), orange ( to-o-shoku ) - overall

~ FS *3432.
-Tamiya X6, Humbrol 82
