Hello, I'm looking for some items to expand my museum exhibit.

I'm looking for a propeller blade and an auxiliary fuel tank from WWII (up to 1955).

Does anyone know where I can get something like that? I have to buy everything myself for the exhibit, restore it if necessary, and then display it in such a way that it can't be stolen.

I'm sure you remain the forum doesn't allow to tarade here. However if you look for any artifacts to buy I would suggest using the Google. There are sites including the Ebay one where such items can be found and purchased.

When I search for something on eBay, I only find items in the model-making category. My question is, does anyone know where I can find companies that sell this type of item so I can contact them? Also, if certain keywords are used on eBay.com, I can't search for it on eBay.de or eBay.at because those items are blocked, including books and stamps.
Even if you found and saved it, bidding is only possible via eBay.com.

I have original photos of a Dodge WC51/52, but even those are blocked here in Austria and Germany.

It may be a "shot in the dark", but perhaps the RAF Museum at Hendon or Cosford could help. They have fairly large storage facilities at Cosford (and I think at Stafford also), with many items not seen on display to the public. In recent years both museum locations have even disposed of complete airframes, such as Hendon's B-25 Mitchell, now at the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Museum at East Kirkby, and the DH Comet 1 from the Cosford site very recently moving to another museum, I think in Wales.
There's a good chance they might have surplus props and drop tanks that they would be willing to release.
Just a thought and probably worth a try.

EBay has been invaluable for my pursuit of vintage aircraft parts.

What search terms are you entering? I only seem to get results for model making or pictures.
Be as specific as you can. I have entered specific model numbers of parts I need when known. Where not known, I've used terms like "1950s vintage aviation radio". Suggest you use the word "vintage" in your description and to use the US eBay rather than smaller local markets.
