Martin’s Marauder

[Nigel Brenton]

My Father was an RAF Airman who flew initially out to North Africa bombing the oil fields in the Ukraine during WW2 moving up into Italy as the war progressed. He passed away some years ago and his Squadron was mixed with other Nationalities. Can anyone shed any light on this history please

The role of 14 squadron from 1942, when it swapped its Blenheims for Marauders, until Sept 1944 when it returned to Britain was anti-shipping, minelaying and general reconnaissance around the Med and Aegean.
