Hi, men, hope you are not too bored in these days. Been watching schematic pics of Emils and I noted that in no cutaway there is the master compass into the airframe. I expected the typical figure of something like a little flying saucer on the floor of the rear sections, but nope. It was not installed in Emils or it was in other place of the ship?

As memo serves the early Bf 109 from A-E had the magnetic compass installed only. See the pic below. With the F variant the Patin repeater compass was installed instead of the magnetic compass. The Patin Mutterkompaß ( main compass Patin system ) was mounted in the rear part of the fuselage.
