Nowadays, it's a trend for deep-space explorers / spaceships to use nuclear electronic-generator for their electronic sources.
For example, RTG(Radiosotopr Thermoelectric Generator) have flown 27 space missions by NASA, mainly used on deep-space explorers.
The RTGs for the Pioneer 10 spacecraft operated flawlessly for 3 decades until the spacecraft signal was finally too weak to detect in 2003.
In the first post of this thread, there're public aerospace nuclear electricity manuals.
In the second post of this thread, there'll be army publicly-released nuclear-biology-chemical safety manuals for the public to prevent dangerous cases for NBC disasters.
