Need help ID old aircraft steering wheeel found in France

Yes I thought about the Douglas C-54E Skymaster (DC-4) as well. But it seems that the most of the C-54/DC-4 had an additionall tool (device/button ) at the the head of the control colum attached. The DC-6 didn't have a such things there what can be noticed in the shots above. However , apart the detail I agree that the C-54E Skymaster / DC-4 could be as well.
