Hi everybody!
I came across this product on ebay:
Monogram 1/48 B-24 H FORD NOSE Liberator Resin/ Vac Conversion Revell
Does anybody know it in detail? Some of the parts (clear vac) are not shown on ebay, but only mentioned. Since the old Koster-kit is practically gone or is still selling for an impossible price is the new one a good alternative?
There is an old thread where conversions for Ford manufactured J but also H have been discussed. I found valuable information there, but this was 6 years ago. What about the new one?
Cheers!

Haven't seen that one before, or any other in recent years.
I have a Monogram B-24J in the stash, to build as 'H' model, and will be re-engraving the nose, and using a Falcon (Squadron) vac-formed bombardier's window and cockpit canopy.

I've picked up replacement nose and tail turret from this seller for the monogram Revell b-24 j . But I haven't seen this.
What version is the nose for, Don? H or J? Did it match the original model well?
He's selling seamless turrets (Emerson and Consolidated) with interiors separately or as part of the set mentioned above.

Like the sound of those turrets, but the Import Duty to the UK could make them expensive. Any details of what they're like, and the cost?
Check here.
This particular seller does not show any additional import costs (lately I stopped buying from sellers who force you to pay those). But if you must pay import duty at arrival, you might be right. The conversion kit I mentioned earlier includes both turrets + some more goodies. This was the reason to start asking about it.
Cheers!

Thanks very much for the info.
Not really viable for me, as the cost, with shipping and UK Import Duty, is around £30, near enough $40 US.
