.Greetings. I was making a research about autopilot systems and I read that "In 1944, northrop Mx-334 rocket driven airplane was introduced. Developed an electronic autopilot a wartime improvement of the automatic pilot" So how MX-334's autopilot was more advanced that ww2 era allied/axis autopilot systems and did it effect the autopilot development in the 20th century ? Thanks.

I wasn't aware that the MX-334 had an autopilot system.
The MX-334 was a glider, the MX-324 and MX-365 were the powered airframes.
The program was short lived and cancelled after a fatal crash of one of the MX-334s
