Greetings , All. Quick (and hopefully simple) question. Cockpit colors for Mk. IXe. I seem to remember reading later Mks (IX up) the area behind the pilot seat had grey-green paint instead of the older (Mk.I - Mk.V) aluminium lacquer. Yes? No? Maybe?

At some point in late 43 to mid 44 the internal colour switched to all grey green so a serial number would be important

NH550 is one known aircraft. Primary intrest is ex-RAF birds sent to Denmark and Norway. 550 was from CastleBromwich, 6-44. Other I know of was NH193 , CB, 5-44. As I understand most Norwegian ones were 331 and 332 Sqn. birds that went with them when they revered to Norwegian control after the war. One Danish one was RK889, (CB. 10-44)
