I'm building the Stuka G1 in 1/35 from Border Models. I'm stumped on what colors to use for most of it.

The instructions have a painting and marking guide at the end, but there's nothing else on colors to use. No paint callouts for any of the internal parts - nothing about cockpit colors, the engine compartment, wheel wells, etc.

I've tried looking at instructions for Stuka kits from other manufacturers but there's no consistency - they all seem to disagree with each other.

Is there a resource where I could find a more "official" color scheme? I always try to be as accurate as possible with the colors I use for my aircraft, so I'm reluctant to just make something up.

To answer your question ... the G-1 was a quite late variant based on the D-3 variant. All later Ju-87 are said to have the fuselage interior finished in the RLM66. The external surface were painted with the RLM 70/71 on tops and the RLM65 on undersides. However the late RLM65 was quite close to the RLM76 used for undersides of the Luftwaffe kites. So you may find the one too. Certainly there could be exceptions depending on the time or TO. Therefore it would be helpful if you had a picture of the particular plane .
