Been going through the mountain of manuals and paperwork that I bought last year and found this little gem.

Hello Gary, this is very interesting. This aircraft (711) was build in Schwäbisch Hall and was flown to the US forces in Frankfurt by Hans Fay. It was the first 262 in flyable condition in allied hands. It was test flown in Wright Field by Russell E. Schleeh and Walter J. "Mac" McAuley, Jr. who crashed (bailed out) it on 20.8.1946. I'm a board member of the Schwäbisch Hall Airfield Museum and I would like to ask you if it is possible to get a copy of this report ? Thanks ! Here a short overview of our museum : Attraktion
