Looking for photo of Windy City Kitty showing numbers on tail, and possibly better photo of nose art. Was flown by James Currin in 1943 in New Guinea. All I have is this blurry photo from his biography, and he does not describe the serial number or squadron number, but since he is in 341st squadron it would be a yellow tail tip and aircraft number on the tail.
Thanks
Dave

I don't have a photo but you can build a list of 341st aircraft serial numbers. You can then eliminate some by date of accident or missing.

Type in P-47 and 341 in the appropriate boxes.

Scroll down to P-47D-2 and do a search (ctrl F) for 341st FS and make a list of the serial numbers.
