P-47D Thunderbolt, 'The Madam', 387th FS, 365th FG

Hi All,

I am currently producing a book in the Osprey Air Campaign series and I'm looking for information on a specific Thunderbolt from the above Group. It is: P-47D-15, serial 42-75845, B4-J, 'The Madam', flown by 1st Lt John Fetzer.

I do have photos and profiles of the port side - but would like to know if there any of the starboard side? I think it very unlikely that the name, etc. was repeated on the starboard side. Just trying to be belt and braces on the whole thing!

I know there is a book on the 365th Fighter Group - but just wondered if anyone had any information/pointers/images themselves?

I do have the book, "Hell Hawks" Fetzer is mentioned 80 times in the book. No pictures of his aircraft
