P-51 sqdn code letter sizes

i need to buy some 45 degree letter decals for a P-51B project i've started but what size were the squadron code letters that were painted on the side of Mustangs.
and also how big were the serial numbers on the tail

Karl, I've got the dimensions somewhere, and they were more or less the same as the RAF ones IIRC, being 24 inch. However, most decal sheets have them listed by scale, where there'll be two sizes of letters and numbers, 24 inch and 8 inch normally, available in the separate colours, black, white, gray etc etc. These will cover the codes and the serials.
I need to get some more myself, as my old Microscale sheets are getting depleted.
