P-80A-1 Pilot's Flight Operating Instructions

    Here's the pilot flight operating insturctions for the fist block of standard production for the P-80A. You can tell that it was planned to be used during the invasion of Japan based on the drawings of it escorting a B-29 Super Fortress.

    Thanks. Cartoon like illustrations found in the manual seem quite extraordinal for then a state-of-art technology aircraft.

    Oddly enough, that seems rather typical... There are cartoons in the Pilot Training Manuals and I noticed some in the C-69 Constellation Pilot's Flight Operating Instructions.
