Any difference in the power curves of these two engines?

Pretty minor difference, bar at SL?

The -86 revs higher in that chart which may mean a different reduction gear ratio.

Will see what I can find on them.

Not covered in the USAF~USN engine designations 9th Ed (50-01-01) and I do not have an earlier edition. You could look at the FAA type certificates for both engines if they were used in civilianised aircraft.
