Yes, I do have his flight logs that I recovered when going through his things after he past away. They're amazing. When he returned from the MTO, he trained in P-47Ds when he was attached to the 2nd AF, 72nd FW, 262 FPTS at Bruning AAF, Nebraska in August 1944. He logged over 1,000 hours as a persuit pilot and flight instructor in P-39s, P-38s, P-47s, UC-78s, and BT-138s. He earned a purple heart (he was wounded on a straffing mission when his canopy was shot off) and the Air Medal with three oak leaf clusters.
