Here is an IPC that I downloaded many years ago from who knows where.

Next post to this thread I will try and link others manuals on this site.

Excellent! I downloaded. Per this IPL the supercharger is always engaged and there is no clutch. This implies my cutch assembly is for a different engine.

So my next guess is Caribou R-2000 with twin speed supercharger.
The quest continues.

I searched the site for R-1340 and was surprised that there were only the two so here are a couple more from unknown sources.

Per the history document the engine came both with or without clutched superchargers.
