As far as I can tell PT907 was delivered to the Danes with RAF census # and buzz numbers. I see the Sky ID band. Sky spinner? Yellow wing lead edge markings? Any guess on how long before she was remarked (41-412/ revised national markings) ? Spitfire pilots and aircraft database - Spitfire PT907

The PT907 was sold to the DAF on 23 October 1947. The pic you posted is dated on 1947 so it has to be the Winter 1947/1948. As you noted the plane still was wearing the RAF markings quite typical for the end of the war. However the Sky band at the rear of the fiselage wasn't required yet at that time. The same for the spinner. From 30.01.1945 the Quick ID markings were ordered to be removed for the 2nd TAF and could be of any colour. Here below the PT931 with the same camouflage and markings for the time. Both the PT907 and 931 were servicing in foreign squadrons of the RAF. The PT907 had been servicing in the Armée de l'Air before she was sold. Therefore the RAF markings could be still there.

Regarding the yellow wing leading eadges ... These don't seem to be of the colour. It might be the light trick. The ID marking was also given up at the end of the war. The idea of being there seems to be a result of applying the Dark Green and Ocean Grey spots at the wing leading edge and the demarcation line between the tops and undersides IMHO. Here the RK881 with the OG/DG colours at tops. The difference between the top and bottom colour especially at the OG area isn't noticed. A little bit below the enlarged PT907 wing leading edge to compare of the effect. If there would be the yellow colour it had to be , for Spitfire, extended from the wing tip to half along the wing, mesured from the tip with a width of 4 inches, i.e. 2 inches width on eitehr side of centre line of the wing edge. However the demarcation line between the top and bottom colours can be noticed partially from the nav light toward the protruding cannon barrel. Certainly there could be the remnants of the yellow markings there. Just not convinced fully because it is difficult to believe the marking was still there two years after the war end. Unless they could paint these ID strips as it can be seen in the colour image.

The Danish Spitfires were repainted around the 1948/1949 with the new colours and markings. And this pic below shows the PT907 in the new livery while servicing in the 4th Squadron. The caption suggests the 1947 but it seems to be impossible because the PT907 was delivered in late Fall, 1947. And it seems to be the late Spring or Summer. So the 1948 or 1949 that would fit to the time of repainting.
