    Hi Everyone,

I'm trying to find a good example of a 339th fortress to model. My grandfather was a crew chief on one so I'd really like to model it as close to what he worked on as possible. Unfortunately all my grandfathers pictures and files are still in NY while I'm down here in SC. There doesn't seem to be too many examples on the intertubes or at least I haven't been able to find em. Anybody have some in their treasure trove?

Thanks Wurger! Appreciate the effort. I should have been more descriptive in my OP. I'm interested in late paint scheme pictures sort of like whats seen below. I came across those this morning but am hoping to find a color gem from the time period. That second photo looks like its from the oklahoma CAF but I'm not sure how accurate the scheme is.
