Regarding Presentation Aircraft.
What is known of American Aircraft that were Presentation Aircraft named in the USA before transfer to the RAF ?
Were their names recorded by the Americans following nameing and before transferring to the British ?
Were the names removed or overpainted following transfer to the British or when British camouflage was applied either while still in the US or in the UK ?
