Havent seen this movie, nor do I have much desire too, as I suspect this video encompases the best 10 minutes. Impressive animation and interesting machines none the less

The idea behind Sky Crawlers is that these people are the AI a human interacts with in a computer/gaming console Combat Sim.

It's an interesting concept.

I have read reviews that say its boring, except for the flying sequences (well, youtube reviews dont count for much). Its worth a watch?

Well, I would say it is worth watching. I used to be active in Combat Sims and I can appreciate the interesting perspective of the AI's world.

It's definately a sci-fi/fantasy based storyline and has good elements in the story. It also has great CGI and moves along pretty good.

I'd say go for it

Have never heard of this before. That was a nice clip. Lots of WW2 design influence in the aircraft, the Japanese Shusui, late model Spit, Langen nase Fw 190. Very neat designs.
