A Youtube video about the loss of the USS Scorpion in 1968 is so cheaply done that it is humorous. Almost none of the video or stills used in it are in any way appropos to the subject. This is a cheap, shoddy production that turned out to be a comic masterpiece, in my opinon. My favorite blip is shown in the following capture. This is in 1968 and the naration at this point says "American surveillance aircraft and submarines ...". If you have the time and want to watch a real howler, check this one out by all means. Edit: Look for clips taken aboard JAPANESE WWII submarines. They are there!

Just looking for clicks. The more watches and comments, the better for the Algorithm. I'll avoid it. If I see an AI generated image in a thumbnail, I block that channel.
 
The Babe Ruth Story (1948) was completely over the top. It had Ruth saving a puppy's life, refusing to drink beer and drinking milk instead, and healing a crippled boy so he could walk again.

Marketing (advertising) over comes truth since the beginning of writing.

What I really object to is the incredibly sloppy job some of these internet people are doing.
Like they flunked out 9th grade creative writing.
