I have this sheet for Fw190D-9 Aces. It gives all the paint information but doesn't call what RLM colors are used on the camouflage for the upper wings. What would they have been? Thanks.

Not exactly, but close .... the decal manufacturer assumed these were the same as the ones for the fuselage top. The problem if the top colours are correct or not as the other sources state the different ones often.

1. Fw190D-9 Mjr. Barkhorn JG6 1945 is depicted with tops of the RLM 82/83, the undersides with RLM76.
2. Fw 190D-9 Lt. Tanzer 13./JG51 1945 is depicted with the RLM 75/83 on tops and the RLM 76 for undersides. But it seems the camo should be of RLM 82/83 at tops.
3. Fw190D-9 Oblt. Romm IV./JG3 1945 is depicted with the top RLM 75 and RLM76 for bottoms. However the camo seems to be incorrect. It should be of the fuselage top RLM 81 and wing tops RLM 81/82 and RLM76/81 for bottoms. See the profile below.

So for last plane,Oskar Romm the fuselage colors are Braunviolet NOT Grauviolet 75? So whats its wings, solid Braunviolet?

Yes. The RLM 81 is the colour instead o the RLM75. The tops of the wings aren't of the RLM 81 only but of the RLM 81/82. Additionally he Fw 190D-9 didn't have the late blown type cockpit hood but the early style canopy.

the JaPo book ...

the info source .... Hasegawa 1/32 FW190D-9 Oskar Romm IV/JG3, Prenzlau, March 1945 **Finished**

the pic ource: Hasegawa 1/32 FW190D-9 Oskar Romm IV/JG3, Prenzlau, March 1945 **Finished**

And here the Berkhorn's and Tanzer's Dora renditions I found via the net.

and the renditions for the RLM 82/83/76 ...

And here is an excerpt from the Hasegaawa kit for the Barkhorn's Fw190D-9 in 1/32 ...

Thanks, I just read it DID have the blown canopy. It had been damaged in a raid and was sent out to be repaired. It came back with a blown canopy. It was originally an early 190 with a flat canopy until it was sent to be repaired.

OK.

Anf here a rendition for the Tanzer's Fw 190D. It also may come in handy.

Yes. Ihave a better method now, spray it through a mask, I use rattle cans as I do not like airbrushes, too much work to clean and maintain them. Basically I am lazy!

Lazy .. you say ... ... your are not the only one.

regarding the mottling .. also you may use a sponge brush or just a piece of fine sponge glued to a round stick. Using these with masks you may get a nice effect too.

My 2 cents opinion regarding Tanzer's machine; some sources give the Wnr.213084 for his "white 1" during April 1945. If the Wnr is correct (and only if it's correct) then, the camo scheme could the same as Wnr.213097 "white 11" at the same period in the same unit. The color scheme was debated during GB#29 with my model from post #45 and following ones.
As Wojtek said it in post #5, the camo could be RLM81/82 over 76 (W2 painting scheme)
