Tails of...

Aircraft on the USS Wasp after they switched to tail symbols but BEFORE they changed to letter codes. I THINK that the symbol's a horizontal bar with numbers on it, but I can't find any real pictures of planes.

The marking was indeed a bar containing numbers...
