Technical Officer and "Beim Stab"

Not sure this is the right place to post my question, sorry.

I'm curious about actual role and functions of the two officers depicted below. Anyone knows?

Well, they represent, in order Gruppen Technical Officer and Grupen Beim Stab.

Beim Stab means "At the Saff," so I am assuming Staff Officer, likely of the Gruppen. There were various Staff Officer duties, and I do not know which this officer was charged with.

Gruppen Technical Officer usually had an engineering degree and was a weapon technical officer, likely specialized in the aircraft, but definitely in some weapon as far as I can tell. I'm guessing he took care of aircraft technical issues, such as aircraft systems or electrical issues beyond the ability of the crew chief. If he couldn't fix it or adres it somehow, the aircraft was likely cannibalized or scrapped.

Both officers were members of the Gruppenstab - Group Command Staff

2. the Group Chief-of-Staff

As memo serves the staff officers tasked with additional administrative duties.
