I am working on a project to model all the aircraft my family has flown ranging from 1917 to the current day. Lacking any logbook information I am trying to find the individual aircraft unit letters (or number) codes that were used on the Oxfords of 14 (P) AFU at RAF Ossington specifically between 16/2-09/04/1943 so I can at least build an aircraft known to be on the unit when my Uncle was there.
I can find the registration numbers the aircraft were issued with when built (I have the Air Britain Oxford & Envoy book), but not those issued (if any) on the unit. If anyone can help I'd be most grateful.
