Somewhere in my giant stack of stuff I have an newspaper article from a long time back where a fellow had two bombs standing on end as decoration in his back yard patio. He had them for a very long time as it was his grandson who whacked one on the nose. If I remember correctly, the grandfather and grandson died.

I used to lived close to Southend on Sea, England, which is effectively on the North coast of the Thames where it meets the English Channel they were forever finding UXB's which had been dropped in the sand. We used to get quite blasé about the bomb disposal teams dealing with the bombs. Roughly 80% of the time you would just get the explosion from the disrupter charge, but the rest could be seriously impressive.
