Trumpeter 1/48 Sukhoi Su-15TM Flogger F

The Trumpeter 1/48 Sukhoi Su-15TM Flagon F has been poking for my interest, just to even the score between east and west jets...of corse with the improved nose from......eeerrrmmm....well, you know, them!
With only 1200 or so built (?), is there a way to find out where they were based and which units that flew them?

Here we go old chap....the kit of the bird I'm thinking off! And, Quickboost seem to have the nose to correct Trumpeters.....errrmmmm....wee mistake.

Had a look through my Soviet refs, but not having much luck with units or bases for this one.
