Two questions about F1 engine and fuel

What sort of octane level is F1 fuel ? and How is F1 engine compression ratio?

Good luck finding any real recent information on anything to do with F1, that is if your talking about the car race. Especially anything to do with the engines that is super top secret stuff.

There are of course lots of forums kinda like this one, where people mention what they heard or think something like CR is. 12.5:1 is one.

Fuel Octane, the fuel used has to be equivalent to what we buy at the pump. Here is one article that says 90 to 97.

F1 cars just use 95 to 102 RON octane fuel! I always think they are using 150 MON octane at least.

F1 fuel is very closely regulated in the technical regulations. Each fuel is submitted for approval, and the fuel in the car must match the supplier's fuel at any time during a Grand Prix event.

Interestingly only the minimum octane appears to be regulated - (RON + MON)/2 = min 87.
