Hello, i'm Michele from Italy.
Two days ago, a farmer gave me a piece of a plane crashed in his field during the war. I cannot post a photo, but it appears a rudder or aileron frame, light alloy, with a round inspection stamp signed "CFD 11". The facts happens on the first months of 1945, february or march. The plane went down near the Crostolo river, just 15-20 miles south of REGGIO EMILIA, north italy. Does anyone know the menaing of the stamp CFD 11? I was'nt unable to find the inspection stamp meaning. Thanks in advance
