Looking for technical information, manuals, information, etc. about USAAF reconnaissance cameras installed in aircraft during combat over Europe at WW2.
The attached pictures show a damaged part of an cover of a certain camera. I believe that it was installed in the cockpit of a P38. There are two badges on the part. The information on them is hard ot read. So I wrote it down on a sheet of paper and took a picture. Please see attached.
The part was found in Lower Austria at the crashplace of a P38 of 49th Sqsn/14th FG.
Could this be part of the gun camera too?
Any information please post here or send private message. Thanks for any help.

Regards from Austria,

Kurtl

It appears to be the remains of an AN-N6 Gun Camera.
