Hello. I am new to the site. Looking for someones expertise! A friend of mine has his great uncles tail wheel....believed to have been brought back after the war. We are not sure what it is from. It appears the sidewalls of the tire were painted silver or white at one time. Tire size is 4.95-3.5 'electronically conductive' printed on the side. Also WM14. I will attach some pictures. Thanks in advance! Any information will be much appreciated. Tyson

The 4.95-3.5 WM14 is a quite popular tyre size used for the RAF aircraft. The tyres could have been used on the tail wheel of any of the following:
Anson, Albemarle, Battle, Fulmar, Swordfish, Hurricane, Lysander, Oxford, Defiant. There should be also a number on the hub prefixed AHO for the Dunlop wheel or number 83x for Palmer one that could help with the ID of the plane type. Please have a close up look at the hub. For instance, the hub for the Anson was AH5008 with the WM14 4.95-3 1/2' tyre.
