Hi Guys,

We have to confirm the identity of an airplane crashed 70 years ago here in Italy not far from where i live.
Probably it was a Wellinghton..
We found some aircraft parts and now we have to identify their nature (in attachment you can find some photos).
Anybody know where can I find a wellinghton parts catalogue or maintenance manuals?

That's a lot of unidentifiable twisted bits of metal and other things. The best thing you can do is wirte to the likes of the RAF Museum and request information on downed British aircraft on raids over that part of Italy, if you are certain that it was a Wellington.
